I am Evgen Silin, one of the creators of Supercoloring.com, and I am Ukrainian. On February 24th, my family woke up to the sounds of sirens and explosions after Russia started its unprovoked attack on our country.
Russia started its attack under the false pretext of “denazifying” Ukraine, a free democratic country. New Hitler of 21st century stated his goals openly in his address before the attack with very clear nazi vibes - to destroy Ukrainian people and to destroy Ukraine.
Ukrainian people stood up to defend our country. Our army is fighting tenaciously, beating the aggressor to the punch despite all odds and numbers. More and more people both males and females are taking weapons to protect our freedom and independence. But we are fighting not only for ourselves. We are fighting for the values that created the West. We are fighting for you too and we hope for your support.
Even the smallest step will be appreciated by the Ukrainian people. What you can do:
- Put pressure on your political representatives to provide help to Ukraine
- Resist the Russian disinformation and aggression coverup operations in social media
- Help Ukrainian refugees running from the Russian indiscriminate bombings and shellings of Ukrainian cities
- Speak to Russian friends, fellows, and colleagues if you have some. Only Russians can stop this war quickly by starting massive anti-war protests.
- Repel campaign in some media trying to present invasion of Ukraine as some sort of justified act. This is not true. This is not a political calculation, but a pure hatred act towards freedom and democracy committed by fascist (schizo-fascist by Timothy Snyder definition) regime
- Believe in us and don’t believe Russian fakes. Our nation is not going to surrender, we don’t have another Ukraine
