GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw guidelines for a body of the rhino. Mark off the width and height of it.
STEP 1. Draw circles for the biggest parts of the animal.
STEP 2. Add guidelines for the legs, tail and horns.
STEP 3. Show the shapes of the neck, head and joints.
STEP 4. Contour the rhino, paying attention to the shapes you have already drawn.
STEP 5. Add lines for details of the animal. Outline the ears and an eye.
STEP 6. Draw additional lines to add volume to the rhino.
