GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Set the object limits on the sheet of paper. Draw a circle that will serve as your clover base and draw a line to show the direction of the stalk.
img
STEP 2. Using straight lines, intersecting at the straight angle, show the clove leaf veins growth direction. Draw a stalk also.
img
STEP 3. Using additional two lines indicate an empty space between the leaves. Using curves, show the clover leaf veins.
img
STEP 4. Using two circles of different diameters, mark the upper middle point of the clover leaves (large circle) and the lower intersection point of the leaves (a circle of smaller diameter.)
img
STEP 5. Use two overlapping circles to show heart-shaped tip of the each leaf. In order to draw the part of the clover, where two leaves are joint, use the ovals.

STEP 6. Use a smooth line to draw the clover silhouette. So your clover is ready. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
