Hoe teken je een wolf?
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
STEP 1. Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw two ovals for the wolf’s head and body. Draw a line through the centre of the wolf’s head.
step-3
STEP 2. Draw the shape of the wolf’s body and neck. Add a guideline for its tail.
step-4
STEP 3. Define where the legs will be, and the proportions of the wolf’s head.
step-5
STEP 4. Outline the shapes of its legs and nose.
step-6
STEP 5. Sketch the toes, tail, ears, nose, and eyes.
step-7
STEP 6. Draw the claws. Refine the shapes of the head, neck, eyes, and nose, adding more details.
step-8
STEP 7. Contour the wolf, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line. Carefully draw the details and add the ground. Erase all the guidelines.
