GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw guidelines for the brown bear.
STEP 1. Outline circles to show the shape of the animal.
STEP 2. Add guidelines for the legs, tail and ears.
STEP 3. Show the shapes of the neck, head, tail and joints of the brown bear.
STEP 4. Proceed with contouring the brown bear, using the shapes you have drawn.
STEP 5. Line details of the picture.
STEP 6. Finish contouring by adding the eyes and fur.
