How to draw an airplane
How to draw an airplane
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
STEP 1. Mark off the width and height of the plane-its proportions. Add a line that will serve as the center of it. Define the direction of the wings.
step-3
STEP 2. With a smooth line, add the bottom of the plane. Mark the plane tail.
step-4
STEP 3. Delineate the body and shape of the wings.
step-5
STEP 4. Add lines to show the shape of the wings the tail.
step-6
STEP 5. Define the engines and windshields of the plain.
step-7
STEP 6. Draw ovals for the wheels, cockpit and engines.
step-8
STEP 7. Outline more carefully the plane shape. Detail it.
step-9
STEP 8. Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Add more details and some clouds. Erase all guidelines. Your plane is done
