How to draw a beagle
How to draw a beagle
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
STEP 1. Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw an oval for the beagle’s head. Add a line, which will act as the center of it.
step-3
STEP 2. Draw an oval for the thorax. Sketch the rear part of the body and divide the oval into two equal parts.
step-4
STEP 3. Add guidelines for the beagle’s neck, eyes, legs and forelegs.
step-5
STEP 4. Outline the shapes of the legs and head.
step-6
STEP 5. Outline the toes, nose and ears of the beagle dog.
step-7
STEP 6. Carefully draw the shapes of the legs, chest and head. Add the eyes and collar.
step-8
STEP 7. Add detail to the eyes, nose and collar.
step-9
STEP 8. Contour the beagle, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line. Add more detail, add the ground. Erase all guidelines.
