How to draw a beach scene
How to draw a beach scene
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
STEP 1. Mark off the width and height of the picture. Define the main parts of the chair and the patio umbrella.

STEP 2. Sketch the shape of the beach chair and draw an oval for the patio umbrella brims.
step-4
STEP 3. Add several ribs to the patio umbrella and chair legs.
step-5
STEP 4. Draw the top part of the umbrella and chair crossbar.
step-6
STEP 5. Draw an oval for the dangling brims of the umbrella. Finish with the crossbars.
step-7
STEP 6. Work on the shapes of the brims. Outline the chair cloth.
step-8
STEP 7. Work on the whole figure of the chair, paying special attention to detail.
step-9
STEP 8. Contour the beach scene, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line. Add more details and add the sand. Erase all guidelines.
