How to draw a tulip
How to draw a tulip
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
STEP 1. Set the object limits on the paper. Place the flower-buds and the stalks.
step-3
STEP 2. Show the volume of the upper flower-bud, mark the place where two smaller petals of the flower-bud join. Mark the stalks just the same way.
step-4
STEP 3. Draw the symmetry line of the each petal, and then draw petals. Draw the symmetry line on the stalk leaves.
step-5
STEP 4. Start drawing more realistic leaves silhouettes. Draw the leaves similarly.
step-6
STEP 5. Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line.Do not forget to erase unnecessary lines and intensify your strokes. And your tulips are ready!
