GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the heads in advance and draw its approximate size using an ovals • Draw 1 horizontal line above the heads. Above it, draw another line much narrower. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the heads. Below it, add 4 more lines equal to the height of the heads. • On the left and right sides of the heads, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: -on the left, 1 line equal to the width of the heads plus 1 line equal to 1/3 of the width of the heads; -on the right, 1 line equal to the width of the heads.

STEP 1. Draw the man's torso and the woman's shoulder.

STEP 2. Draw the characters' hair. Sketch the woman's body. Erase excess lines.

STEP 3. Mark out the woman's face. Draw the hands. Detail the man's body. Sketch the ground line.

STEP 4. Outline the woman's eyebrows and lips. Sketch her fingers and toes. Add a hole in her dress. Draw the man's facial features. Mark the man's hand on the woman's neck.

STEP 5. Draw the fingers of the characters. Add flowers to the hair.

STEP 6. Add geometric shapes on the characters' clothes.

STEP 7. Detail the pattern on the garment.

STEP 8. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour couple, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.

STEP 9. Colour in the picture and bring it to life. Enjoy your drawing.
