How to draw Skull with burning cigarette by Van Gogh

GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an oval • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. • Above it, draw another line equal to half the height of the head. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 1 more lines equal to the height of the head plus 1 line equal to half the height of the head. • On the left and right sides of the head, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: -on the left, 1 line equal to the width of the head plus 1 line equal to half the width of the head; -on the right, 1 line equal to the width of the head.

STEP 1. Outline the shoulders of the skeleton. Draw auxiliary lines and figures.

STEP 2. Separate the face with lines. Continue working on the shape of the body.

STEP 3. Outline the eyes and add a line to the face. Draw the bones. Erase any excess lines.

STEP 4. Mark the nose. From the head to the body, draw the neck. Sketch the shoulders. Erase any excess auxiliary lines.

STEP 5. Improve the shape of the skull. Sketch a cigarette in the mouth. Draw the ribs. Erase any excess lines.

STEP 6. Detail the skeleton. Draw a couple of ribs.

STEP 7. Sketch additional lines on the skeleton. Draw teeth.

STEP 8. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour skull, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.

STEP 9. Colour in the picture and bring it to life. Enjoy your drawing!
