How to draw Self-portrait by Vincent van Gogh
How to draw Self-portrait by Vincent van Gogh
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an oval • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. Above it, draw another line equal to half the height of the head. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 3 more lines equal to the height of the head. • On the left and right sides of the head, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: -on the left, 1 line equal to the width of the head plus one line half as much; -on the right, 1 line equal to the width of the head plus 1 line equal to 1/4 of the widths.

STEP 1. Draw a line for the neck. And from it sketch a figure for the torso.
