How to draw an anchor with rope
How to draw an anchor with rope from Objects
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
GRID STEP. Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw basic lines denoting the proportions of an anchor. On the top of it, outline two circles, the latter of which must be smaller and drawn inside the first one.
step-3
GRID STEP. Draw guidelines for the basic form of the anchor with its rope.
step-4
GRID STEP. Draw the shapes of the ends and the upper part of the anchor.
step-5
GRID STEP. Work on the whole shape and figure, making the picture more detailed.
step-6
GRID STEP. Outline the rope.
step-7
GRID STEP. Add some additional lines to the rope and the top of the anchor. At the sharp end of the anchor draw a straight line at the centre of the bend.
step-8
GRID STEP. Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Add some extra details. Erase all guidelines.
