How to draw a double-decker bus
How to draw a double-decker bus from Vehicles & transport
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
GRID STEP. Mark off the width and height of the double-decker. Define the general proportions. Draw ovals that will become wheels.
step-3
GRID STEP. Show, with a semicircle and a vertical dividing line, a cabin. Add lines to define the width of the wheels.
step-4
GRID STEP. With straight lines, show a bus part where all of the windows will be places.
step-5
GRID STEP. Define the shapes of the windows and doors.
step-6
GRID STEP. Work on the figure by adding new details to the cabin. Define headlights, bus window frames and bus door rubbers.
step-7
GRID STEP. Draw the wheels. Add a rack and a board. Draw additional lines to show the cabin shape.
step-8
GRID STEP. Work on the figure of the double decker, paying special attention to small details, parts and components.
step-9
GRID STEP. Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Draw more details. Delineate a road and trees. Erase all guidelines.
