How to draw a daffodil flower
How to draw a daffodil flower from Plants
step-1
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
step-2
GRID STEP. Mark off the width and height of the narcissus. With smooth lines, draw guidelines for the stems and leaves. Add a semicircle for a flower.
step-3
GRID STEP. Draw an oval for a cup and stems. Define the second flower.
step-4
GRID STEP. Outline the shape of the cup. Add tree front petals. Also, draw a petal of the second narcissus, placing it between the upper and the lower.
step-5
GRID STEP. Delineate the rest of the petals.
step-6
GRID STEP. Draw the shape of the leaves (one of which is a spathe) and the stems.
step-7
GRID STEP. Add one more leaf. Detail the cup of narcissus by adding curves. Define the lower leaf.
step-8
GRID STEP. Work on the narcissus, paying attention to the petals and their shapes. Add more details.
step-9
GRID STEP. Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Detail the picture, indicating the flower features. Erase all guidelines.
