GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Mark off the width and height of the snowshoe hare.
STEP 1. Draw circles for the head, hip and muzzle.
STEP 2. Add guidelines for the head. Outline the back and ears of the hare.
STEP 3. Add the mouth and nose.
STEP 4. Delineate the body, hip and tail.
STEP 5. Draw the legs and feet. Add new lines to show the shapes of the tail and ears.
STEP 6. Work on the snowshoe hare, paying attention to details.
STEP 7. Contour the animal, detail it and add some snow.
