How to draw a Triceratops

1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

PASSO 1. Mark off the width and height of the triceratops. Draw two ovals for its head and body. Draw a smooth line, which will act as the center of its head.
PASSO 2. Draw guidelines for the back, neck and tail of the triceratops.
PASSO 3. Draw the shapes of the tail and belly. Mark a frill.
PASSO 4. Outline the frill. Delineate guidelines for the triceratops’s legs.
PASSO 5. Draw legs. Define the places for horns and a snout.
PASSO 6. Outline the horns and the beak of the triceratops. Detail the feet.
PASSO 7. Draw the lower jaw. Work on the dinosaur, paying special attention to details.
PASSO 8. Contour the triceratops, trying to vary the blackness and thickness of the line. Add some details and the ground. Erase all guidelines.
