Monos

<p style="font-size:11pt;">Monkeys are tree-dwelling animals of higher primates group. Monkeys live in all kinds of climates, from tropical rainforests to deserts. They are found in Asia, Africa, and South America. Monkeys have long tails that help them balance and grab things like branches. They have long arms and legs that they use to swing from tree to tree. Monkeys usually eat things like fruit, insects, and leaves. They are social animals and live in groups called troops. They communicate with each other through a variety of sounds and facial expressions. They are very intelligent, and some species can even use tools! </p> <br> <p style="font-size:11pt;">Common types of monkeys include <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/macaque" title="macaques coloring page">macaques</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/spider-monkeys" title="spider monkeys coloring page">spider monkeys</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/mandrills" title="mandrils coloring page">mandrils</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/baboons" title="baboons coloring page">baboons</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/howler-monkey" title="howler monkey coloring page">howler monkey</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/bald-uakari" title="bald uakari coloring page">bald uakari</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/tamarin-monkeys" title="tamarins coloring page">tamarins</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/marmosets" title="marmosets coloring page">marmosets</a> and <a href="/coloring-pages/proboscis-monkey" title="proboscis monkey coloring page">proboscis monkey</a>. </p> <br> <p style="font-size:11pt;">Monkeys shouldn't be confused with <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/apes" title="apes coloring page">apes</a>. Nevertheless, monkeys and apes are both higher primates, but there are a few key differences between them. Monkeys generally have tails, while apes do not. Monkeys tend to be smaller and more active, while apes tend to be larger and more sedentary. Monkeys have a more varied diet, while apes are primarily vegetarian. Monkeys typically live in trees, while apes live on the ground. Additionally, apes are more intelligent than monkeys. There are two main groups of apes, which are the great apes and the lesser apes. Great apes include <a href="/coloring-pages/vitruvian-man-by-leonardo-da-vinci" title="humans coloring page">humans</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/gorillas" title="gorillas coloring page">gorillas</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/chimpanzee" title="chimpanzees coloring page">chimpanzees</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/bonobo" title="bonobos coloring page">bonobos</a>, and <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/orangutans" title="orang-utans coloring page">orang-utans</a>. The lesser apes include <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/gibbons" title="gibbons coloring page">gibbons</a> and siamangs.</p> <br> <p style="font-size:11pt;">There are some other tree-dwelling mammals which resembles monkeys e.g. <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/lemurs" title="lemurs coloring page">lemurs</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/loris" title="loris coloring page">loris</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/tarsier" title="tarsiers coloring page">tarsiers</a>, <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/kinkajou" title="kinkajou coloring page">kinkajou</a> and even <a href="/coloring-pages/mammals/koalas" title="koala coloring page">koala</a>. </p> <br>
