How to draw an elephant portrait
GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.

STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head, the ears and the upper body of the elephant.
STEP 2. Erase redundant lines inside the head. Sketch the elephant trunk.
STEP 3. Add inner lines of the ears. Sketch eyes. Refine the shape of the trunk by adding and erasing inner lines.
STEP 4. Detail the eyes and the trunk.
STEP 5. Work on the whole figure of the elephant, adding more details to the eyes, the mouth and the ears.
STEP 6. Color the eyes. Erase all guidelines.
