Filón Alexandrijský

Filón Alexandrijský

Philo of Alexandria (c. 25 BCE - c. 50 CE) was a Hellenistic Jewish philosopher attempted to fuse Greek philosophy with Jewish traditions. Many of his writings are biblical paraphrases heavily influenced by Platonism. In particular, Philo identified Plato’s ideas with thoughts of Creator who governed the world through Logos, a technical term in Greek philosophy meaning "speech", "account", "reason".
